How accurate are the rankings?

DataForSEO under the hood — same SERP scraper used by Ahrefs, SEMrush, SE Ranking. Daily pulls at consistent UTC time. Personalization-free (we don't track logged-in user results). Local results scoped to your specified country + ZIP.

Why not real-time?

Daily is the right cadence for rank tracking. SERPs don't change minute-to-minute — running real-time would burn API costs without adding signal. On-demand recheck is available for single keywords if you need a fresh pull.

How is mobile handled?

Separate desktop + mobile rankings, tracked per keyword. Mobile uses Google's mobile-first index. Pull schedule is identical (daily, same UTC). UI shows side-by-side for easy comparison.

Can I track competitors' rankings?

Yes — competitor domains specified in /projects/[id]/settings get tracked on the same keywords as your domain. Share-of-voice + per-keyword competitor position visible. Limited by tier (Growth: 3 competitors, Agency: 5, Scale: 10).

What happens if I exceed tracking quota?

New keywords queue as ‘Research only’ — enriched once but no daily check. Existing tracked keywords stay tracked. You either upgrade or untrack old keywords. We don't silently stop tracking.

Can I export to my own dashboard?

Yes via the public API (Growth+ tier). Pull tracked positions via /api/projects/[id]/keywords + per-keyword history endpoints. Webhook delivery on rank change is on the roadmap.
